Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef
3 cups broccoli florets
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon Coconut Aminos (optional)
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes until onion is soft.
  3. Add broccoli florets and all seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder). Stir to combine, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Pour in heavy cream and stir gently. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  5. If using, stir in Coconut Aminos and red pepper flakes. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a less greasy dish, drain excess fat after browning the beef.
  • Use any melty cheese like Monterey Jack or a dairy-free alternative.
  • Add other low-carb veggies like mushrooms or bell peppers.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
