2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)
1 red bell pepper (cut into 1/4 inch slices)
1 yellow bell pepper (cut into 1/4 inch slices)
1 green bell pepper (cut into 1/4 inch slices)
1/2 yellow onion (cut into 1/4 inch slices)
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Tortillas
Sour cream
Guacamole

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, add the chili powder, paprika, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix with a small fork to combine.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced chicken, onion, and bell peppers. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
  3. Add the prepared seasoning to the bowl and toss again until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken and vegetable mixture into the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook at 350 F for 16 to 20 minutes. At the 9-minute mark, remove the basket and toss or shake the ingredients to ensure even cooking.
  6. Check that the chicken is cooked through. Serve hot in tortillas with sour cream and guacamole.

  • Ensure you slice the chicken against the grain for maximum tenderness.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to achieve the best char on the vegetables.
